So, back in the ancient year of 2001, I graduated from a fancy-pants Graphic Design School and was all like, "I'm gonna be a big-shot print guy!" But little did I know that the digital age was already taking over, and my dreams of becoming a print mogul were soon to be dashed.

After a few years of freelancing and working at a print shop in Hull, Quebec, I decided to take a break and start a family with my lovely wife Sharon. We flew all the way to China, and after much anticipation and waiting, we finally became parents to our first daughter Tianna. Let me tell you, there's nothing like becoming a dad for the first time to make you realize that you don't know anything about anything.

Around the same time, I got my hands on a fancy new Canon 3.2 megapixel camera and thought I was the next Ansel Adams. I started snapping pics left and right, and before I knew it, I was knee-deep in the world of photography.

As my family grew, so did the digital world, and suddenly Adobe Photoshop was going from version 5.5 to CS3-4, and now I'm using Creative Cloud like a boss. It's amazing how far we've come, isn't it?

Anyway, thanks to my background in graphic design, I can handle everything from snapping the photo to printing it out and making it look pretty. And I owe a lot of my photography skills to some dudes named Bryan Peterson and Scott Kelby. But really, the biggest thanks goes to my wife and two little girls who have been my inspiration from day one. They're the real MVPs.

So there you have it, folks. From failed print guy to amateur photographer extraordinaire, all thanks to the power of family and digital cameras. Who knew?
